✨ It’s Oregon Wine Month! ✨ A time to celebrate the pioneering spirit, stunning beauty, and masterful craftsmanship that make Oregon wines truly exceptional.

From rolling hills to misty valleys, Oregon's landscapes shape wines with vibrant character and depth. This is especially true in the Willamette Valley, where cool temperatures and ample rainfall create the ideal conditions for grapes like Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris to develop their trademark elegance. Warm, dry summers allow the grapes to ripen fully, resulting in wines as expressive as the people who make them. Every glass offers a journey through the region’s rich history, innovation, and commitment to quality.

This month, we're raising a glass to the wineries that embody this spirit through their passion and creativity. Each vintage from Gran Moraine Winery, Penner-Ash Wine Cellars, WillaKenzie Estate, Unsanctioned Wine, La Crema Wines, Siduri Wines, and Zena Crown is a testament to tireless dedication, collaboration with nature, and the artistry that defines Oregon winemaking.

Join us as we toast to the remarkable wines and to all those whose unwavering dedication and profound passion bring Oregon’s celebrated wines to life in each bottle. 🍷

As Earth Month comes to a close, we’re reflecting on the ways we can all work toward a more sustainable future. It’s about the choices we make, big and small, that help protect our planet for generations to come.

One way we’ve made an impact is by reducing our bottle weight by 11% since 2015. Our bottles now average 16.9 oz—that’s 4.6 oz lower than the industry standard. Every lighter bottle means a smaller environmental footprint, helping make your wine moments more planet-friendly.

Earth Day reminds us of the power of coming together to create a more sustainable, connected world. Here at JFW, we believe that supporting our communities is key to building that brighter future.

That’s why we support over 200 non-profits and other community organizations through contributions, in-kind donations, and volunteer hours. We also provide our employees with 16 hours of paid time off each year to give back locally because thriving communities create lasting change.

Together, we can make a difference for the planet and the people who make it special– not just today, but every day. Cheers to stronger communities and a more sustainable tomorrow 🌎

This Earth Month, we’re raising a glass to sustainability! We’re proud to be committed to preserving the land and reducing our environmental footprint. Join us as we share the steps we’re taking to better the world we love all month long. First up, let's talk about water💧

Since 2015, we’ve cut our winery water use intensity by an impressive 37%. Last year alone, we conserved 4.8 million gallons of water— that’s enough for 275,000 showers! And with our rooftop rainwater capture system, we collected over 500,000 gallons, which is equal to 12 MILLION glasses of wine.

Every step we take brings us closer to a more sustainable future. Here’s to making every drop count! 🍷

As a family-owned company led by Barbara Banke, women have long helped shape who we are and where we are headed. From the early days when Jenny and Laura helped plant our first vineyards, to today with Katie and Julia leading important work around community impact and sustainability, and Hailey representing the third generation and helping our brands connect with the next generation of wine consumers.

But this story is not only about ownership. Women lead across every part of our business: in our vineyards and cellars, on our leadership team, and throughout our teams around the world. Nearly half of our winemakers and senior leaders are women, far above the industry norm. Their vision, care, and creativity shape how we farm, how we innovate, and the standards we hold ourselves to. You can taste that commitment in every bottle.

Cheers to the women whose leadership continues to shape our company and move the wine industry forward 🍷

As the days grow longer, warmer, and brighter, we welcome the Spring Equinox and the quiet promise of renewal. Vines awaken, blossoms emerge, and bud break brings energy back to the vineyards. It’s a season for shared laughter and savoring a glass of your favorite springtime wine as the world blooms around us.

Cheers to fresh starts, sunlit moments, and the beauty of spring unfolding in every corner of the vineyard. 🍷

It’s International Riesling Day— an invitation to celebrate a grape that rewards curiosity and tells a powerful story of place. ✨

From Oregon’s historic Hyland Vineyard, the Penner-Ash Old Vine Hyland Riesling is a beautiful balance of heritage and precision. Sourced from one of the state’s oldest vineyards in the McMinnville AVA, this elevated site—with its cool summers and warm winters—consistently yields fruit defined by bright acidity and elegant structure.

In the glass, it opens with notes of honeysuckle, Asian pear, quince, and a hint of ginger, leading to vibrant flavors of candied lemon peel, nectarine, and crisp green apple. The finish is clean, refreshing, and quietly complex—lingering long after the last sip.
