"The vintage of a lifetime." That's how Napa Valley's 2023 crop is being described in Decanter's new Cabernet report from Jonathan Cristaldi.

2023 was especially meaningful, as it marked the debut of our first Napa Valley Cabs. We're thrilled to share that Jonathan awarded 98 Points to our Bonny's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and 97 Points to our Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon.

A memorable vintage, an exciting new chapter, and an honor to see these wines recognized so early. Cheers!🎉

What a weekend! We had a blast pouring at the Healdsburg Wine & Food Experience and The CIA at Copia’s Judgment of Paris 50th Anniversary event. 🍷✨

Last month, we brought you along to Obsidian as we grafted Blocks 1 and 2 from Grenache over to Cabernet Sauvignon. This week, we’re already seeing strong new Cabernet growth.🍇 As the season continues, we’ll keep removing suckers from the original Grenache vine so all the energy and nutrients can be directed into the new Cabernet buds.
