We just wanted to give a big thank you to WineBusiness Monthly for their article on the collaborative partnership between APS Packaging and MBF NA on the Hess Collection bottling line!

The goal was to modernize Hess Collection’s existing bottling line with a flexible system capable of handling both case-packed and bulk glass. APS engineered and integrated a fully automated end-of-line solution that included a depalletizer, decaser, case erector, case packer, partition inserter, resealer, and palletizer.

After the installation, we trained the operators with comprehensive, hands-on instruction on operation, product changeovers, calibration, mechanical and operational adjustments. From beginning to end, we made sure to provide the highest quality service.

🍷 Our APS team recently had a nice lunch with Melanee Southard, former VP/GM of the Duckhorn Portfolio!

⚙️ APS engineered and installed a 300 bpm packaging line for Duckhorn, and the project was a great success due to the relationship we cultivated with Melanee and the Duckhorn crew. We all worked together to develop a solution that could support their operation and deliver the performance they needed.

🤝 For us at APS, the job doesn't end when the equipment is installed. We believe the best partnerships are built for the long term. Staying connected with our customers, continuing to support their operations, and maintaining those relationships long after a project is complete is a core part of who we are.

One of the many things our beloved founder, Alberto Migliardi, was known for was his relentless drive in pushing the boundaries of packaging. Before his passing, he helped lead the APS Packaging team in engineering and installing a fully automated 300 BPM packaging line for the Duckhorn Portfolio.

Our largest and fastest line yet, the Duckhorn line was designed to handle both reshipper and bulk formats. As Duckhorn's production demands increased, our team rose to the challenge, delivering a solution that met every one of our clients’ needs.

Alberto always believed that great partnerships were built on strong relationships. At APS, we consider our clients family and treat every one of them with the highest level of respect and care. His philosophy continues to guide us through the leadership of his wife and APS's CEO, Nicole Leahu, as we continue to work alongside our partners to continue innovating, growing, and creating lasting success together.

The 6th annual Par Then Bar Open golf tournament was a huge success! Over 30 w**e and spirits companies participated in this one-of-a-kind event that brought business to the golf range. 🏌️‍♂️

🍇 Two weeks ago, APS Packaging took part in a conference at the UC Davis Department of Viticulture and Enology to examine some of the challenges facing today’s grape and w**e industries!

⚙️ APS discussed the reasons why more and more w**eries are looking towards automation, and why it is beneficial to have these new technologies in the workplace.

🍇 With over 20 years of experience in the w**e industry, Oscar brings a deep understanding of bottling, production, and mechanical maintenance to the APS technical team.

🦀 We had the honor of being St. Rose’s Presenting Sponsor for this year’s annual Crab Feed.

📚 APS loves to support education and, this year, we were able to help raise enough money to adopt a new math program for the kids at St. Rose!
