thousands of animals are killed (and not used in any way) for monocropped fields... it's way past time for a different way of farming. Regenerative farming allows for nature AND humans.

This is an especially important point for those of you who don't eat animals because you don't want to kill animals..... it's a fallacy that industrial agriculture of grains and veggies don't cause animal deaths...they very much do. So help us CHANGE that and choose regenerative farming for your food whenever you can.

Organic is a step above conventional, higher yet is sustainable, but the pinnacle is Regenerative.

(and don't even get me started on those beyond (fake and chemical-filled) meat products.

“What is relish exactly? It's a good question. In my mind, a relish is anything sweet and acidic that you would use to dress up a meal or a sandwich, and it is made of chopped or shredded vegetables. So my definition includes not just classic cucumber relish but also sauerkraut, giardiniera, and even three-bean salad....These pickled goodies can be fresh, live, nutrient-dense, fiber-rich, and delicious. It's time to take relishes back to where they came from: wonderful ways to preserve seasonal vegetables, to add fun and flavor to a picnic, and to usher in a heavy meal with acidic small bites to get the digestive juices going. And it's not difficult: in just a few hours on a weekend morning, you can put together the following four versions of classic relish-tray delights," writes Kirsten K. Shockey of .works along with four Relish Tray Remix recipes in Issue 34::RELISH.
