Happy Pinot Noir Day! Pinot Noir was one of the very first varietals of wine we ever grew on our land & bottled as a winery, so it’s always been special for us.

You may love Chardonnay, but how much do you know about these green little berries? Here are three facts about our favorite white wine varietal, do you know them all?

1️⃣ Chardonnay grapes are actually related to Pinot Noir! It’s believed that our modern Chardonnay vines originated from the French crossbreeding Pinot Noir with Gouais Blanc grapes.

2️⃣ It's the best-selling wine in America with over 840,000 bottles consumed per year!

3️⃣ This white varietal is nearly identical to Pinot Blanc grapes, & can only be told apart through careful observations of the vines' texture and color post-ripening.

WE’VE BEEN NAMED BEST WHITE WINE BY THE NorthBay biz magazine! After having just received the Best Red Wine of Sonoma County title from Press Democrat & North Bay Bohemian’s Best Rosé for our FOURTH year in a year, we’re all starting to feel like our head is getting a little too big 🍾

More than anything though, we want to THANK YOU to everyone who voted for us, or stopped by our Tasting Room, or who are a part of the community that has always supported us. These award-winning wines wouldn’t mean anything without people to share a bottle with.
