🐾 And the winners are…! 🐾

Our 2026 Dog Contest was full of wagging tails, big personalities, impressive talents and some seriously adorable pups. While we crowned winners in four categories, in our hearts, every dog was a winner! ❤️

🐕Talent Winner: Poppy
This 2-year-old English Cocker Spaniel is one hoppy little hoop star! Poppy and her dog mom, Chelsea, jumped their way into the judges’ hearts with an impressive hoop routine.

🐶Cutest Dog: Waffles
This 11.5-year-old Cavapoo and longtime “Chief Introduction Officer” stole hearts with her sweet face and joyful personality. Waffles makes friends everywhere she goes — and she certainly knows how to make an entrance!

🔮 Costume Winner: Madame Loretta-Lynn
This fabulous 6-year-old rescue Pug from South Korea wowed the judges as a fortune teller and even gave them a special reading. Maybe it was always in the cards for her! ❤️ Loretta-Lynn recently completed her evaluation to become a therapy dog, and we have a feeling she’ll be bringing plenty of smiles wherever she goes.

And our W**ery Dog of the Year finalists deserve a round of applause, too!

🐾 Knewt — A one-of-a-kind French Bulldog/Husky/Boxer mix with a curious personality, a distinctive gray-and-white brindle coat, a Bulldog underbite and a mini-Husky build. Talk about a unique pup!

🐾 Sangiacomo — A dangerously cute long-haired miniature Dachshund with velvety ears, a little mischief and an exceptionally long finish. And a special St. Francis connection: his paw-rents were married right here at the w**ery! ❤️🍷

And, of course, a huge congratulations once again to our 2026 W**ery Dog of the Year, Mila! 🏆🐶

Thank you to every pup and paw-rent who joined us for this year’s Blessing of the Animals. You made the day unforgettable, and we loved celebrating all of our four-legged friends. 🐾

🥁Drum roll, please… And the winner of our 2026 Blessing of the Animals 'W**ery Dog of the Year' is… MILA! 🐶🍷

This 3.5-year-old Bernedoodle has a big personality to match her adorable face. Mila loves meeting new people, exploring, and heading out on adventures with her mom, Judith. She’s happiest when she’s out and about, living life fully and without limits. And, of course, she’s always happy to accept a treat — especially if it’s a cucumber, cracker, or blueberry! 🥒🫐

Mila stole the hearts of our judges and guests with her sweet personality and those irresistible puppy-dog eyes. We can certainly see why she was crowned W**ery Dog of the Year! ❤️

Mila was officially crowned during this past weekend’s Blessing of the Animals, and we couldn’t be happier to have this spirited local pup representing St. Francis W**ery throughout 2026.

Congratulations, Mila! 🐾 Keep spreading joy wherever your paws take you!

Harvest is in full swing, the vineyards are turning golden, and there’s no better way to take it all in than aboard the Tour de St. Francis.

Hop aboard our vineyard trolley for a fun ride through the vines, a little history, and, of course, plenty of w**e along the way. 🚋🍷

Tours run Friday–Sunday through October, with the season ending November

Vintage 2026 Russian River Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is coming in and looking great.
🍷 Did you know? Cabernet Sauvignon’s thick skins and small berries contribute to the w**e’s color, tannins and structure. In the Russian River Valley, the region’s cool marine influence and morning fog help create a unique growing environment for these grapes.
And if you love a good Cab, you’re going to want to keep an eye out for our Lagomarsino Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, made by W**emaker Chris Louton. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon recently earned 96 points and Double Gold at the North Coast W**e Challenge, plus 91 points from Jeb Dunnuck.

Rick joined St. Francis in 2018, bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience across the fine w**e industry and a genuine appreciation for Sonoma County.
