Sheep have a job at DeLoach, and it goes well beyond making the vineyard considerably more charming.

As part of our Biodiversity® approach, sheep graze between the vineyard rows, naturally managing vegetation while returning nutrients to the soil through their manure. That means less reliance on machinery for mowing and another way to support the health of the land where our grapes are grown.

This landscape is more than the view from DeLoach. It’s part of how we make wine.

Our estate sits in the Russian River Valley, where we’ve been growing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Zinfandel for more than 50 years. But what makes this land especially important to us is how we farm it. Our Estate Vineyard is certified organic and Biodynamic®, meaning the vineyard is treated as a living ecosystem rather than simply a place to grow grapes.

The view is beautiful. Knowing what’s happening within it makes it even better. Come experience the DeLoach estate for yourself.

Give everyone a bottle to choose. Chardonnay for one friend, Pinot Noir for another, Zinfandel for the bold-wine lover. Unpack the lunch you brought, pour a few glasses, and compare.
