Innovative Business of the Year. 🌟

Last week, Sunstone was honored to be named Innovative Business of the Year at the Stars of the South Coast Gala, presented by the Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce at the beautiful Rosewood Miramar.

Most people don’t look at a winery and think innovation. We did — and to be recognized for it, alongside so many incredible businesses and leaders who pour their hearts into this community, means more than we can say.

Watching our wines and our new functional wellness beverage, Solis, being enjoyed throughout the evening was a moment we’ll never forget.

Thank you to the entire Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce for putting together such an incredible, amazing evening. Congratulations to all of the honorees, and most of all — thank you to the Santa Barbara Community ❤️

Our 2021 Nolan Vineyard Mourvèdre, sourced from the Alisos Canyon AVA near Los Alamos, earned a 91-point rating from . Reviewer Matt Kettmann noted aromas of sour cherry, rose petal and Sichuan peppercorn, with red plum, mace and dried herbs on the palate, and a spicy finish.

Santa Barbara County has earned its reputation as one of California’s premier Chardonnay regions, and we’re proud to be part of that story. On this International Chardonnay Day, we celebrate our 2023 Chardonnay Reserve, which earned a 91-point rating from Wine Enthusiast.

This Sta. Rita Hills gem reflects what this appellation is capable of and we’re glad we got to represent this vintage in a small way. This one and our 2024 vintage are both sold out, but we look forward to releasing our 2025 Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay in November!
