The gorgeous courtyards and picnic grounds, surrounded by vineyards, provide the perfect place to experience the wines. Sunstone Villa is an old world architectural masterpiece. Built from limestone imported from a small village in France, and wood beams and roof tiles reclaimed from a 19th century lavender factory, once owned by Queen Victoria, the Tuscan-inspired Villa boasts 8,500 square feet of luxury living space, with 5 luxury suites. The Villa is one of California's most sought-after wedding venues and event spaces.

Sunstone was honored to partner with The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara, to bring Marriott International Luxury Brands’ exclusive “In the Vineyard” experience to our estate.

Hosted by Sunstone owner Teddy Cabugos, the morning began at our private Villa with Sunstone wines, Sunstone Elixir mocktails and wine cocktails overlooking the vineyards.

Guests then descended into our 5,000-square-foot underground stone cellar for an intimate, candlelit lunch among barrels of aging Bordeaux and Rhône-style wines.

From the first pour to the final course, an unforgettable expression of the Sunstone experience.
