Field trip season is upon us!!
Join us for the Johnny Appleseed's Discovering America field trip program at Fort Cross!
It's educational entertainment at it's best! Hands-on fun at Fort Cross includes an action-packed learning adventure!
The first one is coming up very soon on September 1, 2026! There's still time to sign up!

It's definitely pretty warm out, and these berries are poppin! We have raspberries and blackberries that are sooooo goooood!
And they're not treated with sprays or pesticides! Only organic practices happening here!

Because of the heat, and the timing of our regular events, we'll just be opening up for u-pick berries August 29 & 30 at 12 pm.
We might add more dates, but that's all that's planned for now.

There's an add-on option to purchase u-pick at a huge discount if you sign up for a Farm Tour Adventure for the same day!
Normally, we sell a half-pint container for $5.
But the add-on option gives you a FULL-pint container for only $7!

If you want to pick berries at noon without signing up for the Farm Tour Adventure, there's an option to purchase that online as well.
$15 covers admission for 2 people, plus a full-pint container to share.
Due to the heat, we will only be open for u-pick until about 1:00ish, so please arrive at noon. Latest entry is 12:20.

Summer berries at Fort Cross!!
All of our produce is grown using organic practices. We do not treat the soil or fruit with chemicals or pesticides.
And you can definitely taste the difference.

The raspberries are already producing a bit, but this year is the first year our blackberries will be ready!!

And we are starting to see some yummy apples, too!

Hey there! We're away on some adventures of our own this week. We'll be backpacking up around Piute Pass for 4 nights, starting tomorrow. This is an off-grid area where there is no reception. So if you call or send a message, you'll get a response early August, after we come back.

But!
Fort Cross is still up and running, with staff on site, the entire time we're gone!
Sign up for a Farm Tour Adventure by 7 pm each night, as ticket sales close for the following weekday if there aren't any purchases.
Weekends are open for online purchases until the activity start time.
