RAD'S FARM

RAD'S FARM Sharing daily farm life, agricultural education, and the love of Jesus. Follow along our journey with us. We got married in June 2016.

We had both been around animals our whole lives and we made up our minds before we got married that we had to have a farm. So we begin looking for a place with a house and some land. We first found our place in February of 2016 and we drove by a few times falling in love with it the very first time we saw it. So we begin thinking and praying about it and we ended up closing on it in April and beginning our adventure. In October of 2019 we welcomed our daughter Samantha Grace into the world. In January of 2021 God blessed us with our son Bo Mason. Our children love to be outdoors and enjoy being around all the animals. We all enjoy being outdoors with each other and spending time in God’s wonderful creation. We love hunting and fishing and enjoying providing food through those means for our family. We love raising our own food and hope to get where we can eventually be totally self-sufficient. But anyone who has ever done it knows it takes time and lots of work. We enjoy learning new things and telling others about the pleasures of farming.

Went on a very short trip ! But man it was worth it! When traveling I would rather see farm country then travel the big highways!

This little man is ready for some deer hunting ! And I am too! Hoping the Lord blesses us with a good deer to feed my family.

Got the meat bird cage done awhile back! There is always something to do on the farm!

I honestly don’t like pigs. That is my husbands animal on the farm! lol they are gentle though so I am thankful for that… but not when they get in the grain buggy!

Maggie girl has a “unique” thing about her 😂 I have never seen a cow do this until we got her! She is a mess!
