‼️Pansy and Violas! Lots of beautiful colors for a limited time, so come by and see us! ‼️
• Sunlight: Plant in full sun (at least 4 to 6 hours of direct sun daily). In hot weather or intense summer sun, move them to partial shade to prevent wilting.
• Temperature: They thrive in cool weather (ideal range 45°F to 65°F) and tolerate light frosts. Violas are generally more cold-tolerant than pansies.
• Moisture: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
• Frequency: Water every 2 to 3 days when newly planted, or about twice a week once established. Do not forget to water them during dry winter stretches.
• Avoid Saturated Soil: Ensure good drainage so roots do not rot.
• Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced, slow-release, or water-soluble fertilizer every 1 to 3 weeks (or monthly depending on the product). Avoid excess nitrogen, which causes leafy growth with fewer flowers.
• Deadheading: Pinch off or cut back spent flowers (along with the main stalk) to encourage continuous blooming.
• Pruning: Cut back leggy plants by a few inches if they stretch out or look ragged in warmer weather.
