🌻Mowing the lawn is overrated. You really do have room for more flowers. Dahlias are the most beautiful solution to areas in your lawn that dont bring you joy.

🌻Our dahlias are locally grown in pure Michigan soil. That means every dahlia clump is handled by myself and examined for disease. We follow strict sanitary practices, and every dahlia is grown with a bit of love and gratitude.

🌻 These dahlia varieties are tried and true; they are excellent varieties for your cutting garden and for tuber production. We appreciate you checking out our sale. Tubers will ship within the week of purchase.

🌻Happy garden dreaming ❤️

I was so excited to see a little more growth on the Lenten Rose/Helleborus today. The weather was gorgeous - fingers crossed for a calm March. March in Michigan can be so turbulent. Helleborus is in the top ten for fave flower around here. It's such a welcome sight after a long Michigan winter. We have a large order of plugs coming next month and over the weeks to come are working on a new shade area to fill up with Helleborus and other shade loving perrenials.

FARMHOUSE FOLIAGE

The beauty queens get all the glory in floral designs. The Dahlias, Sunflowers, Peonies, and Lisianthus - they always steal the show.

What about the Green Queens - the filler/foliage? They often get overlooked. Its time they get some recognition. My favorite greens are far from ordinary.

THORNLESS RASBERRY FOLIAGE

This foliage adds such an artistic appeal to every design. Just one stem added to an ordinary bouquet makes it next level. It can be harvested with green berries or without berries. Thornless Rasberry is easily in my top five for best foliage. We've added them two seasons in a row and will be adding more this coming spring!! If your designs or dining table arrangements are missing something...its this - THORNLESS RASBERRY.

Hydrangea Showcase

💐Spirit Hydrangea:
We've only had this variety for a couple of years. We are in love with her ballerina like appearance. The pinky/mauve color makes her a true beauty queen. As the bloom matures she fades into green hues. This variety is truly stunning.

💐 Annabelle Hydrangea:
This variety has been with us since our very first gardens!! She is the true farmhouse classic. The beautiful bride of Hydrangeas. July is her glory month. She shows off her beautiful gown of pure white florets all month and then fades into greens and browns.

💐Hydrangeas are essential in our gardens. They reach maturity in July and continue to show off into fall. We continue to expand our varieties to be able to supply gorgeous blooms to our customers.

This weather has us struggling but the plants and weeds certainly are not! Here's a shout out to our gorgeous perrenials and shrubbery for cutting. These are just a few of what we are growing in the gardens.

🌻 Hydrangeas are a favorite!! The Annabelle Hydrangeas are just beginning to mature for cutting. We have them all over the gardens - with hundreds of blooms. We currently have four varities of Hydrangeas, and are adding two new varieties at the end of summer.

🌻Yarrow is coming in strong! We grow hundreds of berry shades and some yellows too! We pop in Yarrow wherever we can fit it!

🌻 Baptisia is one of my favorite perrenials! Its definitely in my top five!! The baptisia flower season has passed, but the foliage is a gorgeous cut. I love the dual purpose perrenials! We have four varities of baptisia and maybe room for just one more variety...

🌻 Ninebark - the staple woody stem. We have five varieties, but only a few that are mature enough to harvest from. We're looking forward to adding these to our offerings!! They are so versatile in designs.

I can't get enough of this baptisia!! The yellow is the first to bloom in the gardens. The purple is just starting along with the coral peonies - finally. It's been very cool, even for Michigan. The flowers have been in a holding pattern. Everything has just started to mature in the last few days. With a warm up coming next week the cooler will be full of buckets and beautiful blooms. This is such a rewarding season. 💐❤️
