We will have some pasture board spots becoming available this spring when our winter boarders go home. We have an 80x160 indoor and a 100x200 outdoor. We feed 1st cutting grass/alfalfa mix in hay chix nets whenever the pasture is not enough. The pastures all have shelters, and we bring horses in whenever the shelter is insufficient. We will have openings for 2-3 horses for pasture board in April. Board includes 24 hr small group (2-4 horses) turnout in pastures with shelters, stalling in severe winter weather, use of the indoor, outdoor, round pen and wash rack. Hay is provided. We have beef for sale! *reduced price* Pasture raised, grass fed and finished. I have 3 that are ready to go right now. Once these are gone it will be about a year before we have more ready to go. The meat is typically leaner than grain fed but also flavorful and tender. We have gotten a lot of compliments from previous buyers. $2.50/lb hanging weight. Available in whole, half or quarter. We are hiring! Looking for help with chores. Pay depends on experience and reliability. Horse experience is required. Tractor driving experience is not required but willingness to learn is a must. The work involves feeding, turnout, cleaning and bedding stalls, and sweeping for 20-25 horses. If you are interested contact Michelle at 616-437-5691.
