You know I like tinned fish, but maybe you’re vegetarian. Enter Row 7 Seed Company tinned vegetables! Last week, email subscribers got this recipe for panzanella featuring one of the newest products in the shop: Sweet Prince Tomatoes. If you’re not familiar with panzanella, think bread salad. Light, fresh, and perfect for spring!

Make sure to pick a hearty rustic loaf of bread for this dish. I got this one from Crust n’ Crumb FL at my local farmers market. If you’re ambitious, your own homemade sourdough would be a good choice, too.

My most recent recipe was one I originally developed while working for Chef Drew Adams at Meliora Restaurant, who is also one of my good friends. Canelé are one of my favorite pastries, which a crispy shell surrounding a custard filling.

The recipe for rice krispie treats called for vanilla extract–I decided to use Vanilla Bean Project vanilla paste instead & browned butter to get a more well-rounded flavor. 💛
