Wild Blackberry Bushes! Suddenly I was a little girl again, following Mom’s orders. Watch for bees and snakes. Don’t eat all the berries and don’t come home until you have enough for 2 pies! Funny how one taste can take you home!

The Aqua Girls Of Summerset Bay were in rare form today! Every exercise was spot on, but things really heated up during the Aqua Pong Contest! There were cheers and splashes, laughs and loungers! We may never have a chance at our age to train for the Olympics, but we’re definitely gold medalists in good times, friendship and refusing to ever grow up! Monday’s are never boring around here!

Another year, another legendary BOWSKI Backyard Bash at the lake. Once again, Karen and Steve knocked it out of the park! Great activities, yard games, delicious food, laughs and a fierce competition with Corn Hole!

Friday Field Trip began with a stop at The Break On The Lake where we bumped into Bonnie from Harbor Light and apparently Char’s entire social network! While the rest of us were minding our own business, Char disappeared into the smoking section and came back announcing….”I found my people!” Lord Have Mercy as Trisha yells to the crowd. Some people collect stamps….Char collects people….wherever she wanders! Oh, and apparently on the ride home, Lynnette felt we needed to end the excursion with a Chinese Fire Drill! Well, because…why not act like we’re 16 again!

What has started as “a little water aerobics” has officially turned into Comedy Central! They arrive at 3pm eager to exercise and leave with sore abs from laughter. I’m not sure who’s getting fitter, but I do know this….some of us can’t see very well, some can’t hear very well, half of us forget the count, and somehow….someway….we still manage to burn calories and solve all the world’s problems before 4 o’clock!
