You can’t really tell but the gardens filling up! We’ve planted lettuce, radish, turnips, snap peas, onion, leeks, carrots, kale, beets, potatoes, parsley, beans, and garlic! It’s hard to believe this time last year we were just finishing the garden fence! Bunch more hardening off for the weeks ahead.

Happy Spring ❊ My body is buzzing with anticipation! This winter, though mild, has felt heavy. I feel myself dragging and I am craving the kind of buoyant feeling of my silly little laborious song and dance. I supposed there’s a kind of profound trust in the transferring of energy, the give and take, that I feel comforted and revitalized by. I’m going into this season thinking; how can I honor my able body and all the things it allows me to do, create, and relate to! Enjoy the feeling of spring, folks!

How to stay humble while saying WE BUILT THIS WITH OUR BARE HANDS!!! Holy s**t. Matt and I completely demoed and rebuilt our porch and roof. Of course, in between everything else, working multiple jobs, and racing winter.

Our sweet neighbors cheered us on and gave us encouraging waves all the while. On a walk one joked, “When does the crew come to help you out?” and I said “They’re here, crew one and crew two!” pointing at mine and Matt’s biceps lol.

Special thank you to for putting in hours with us! We have some of the best people in our corner.

You can see our progress in our highlights. We’ll be painting, staining, completing finishing work, and landscaping in the spring!

Our eerily, quiet neighbors 🪦 Overlooking acres of hayfield, the graves are marked on native field stone some with hand carved inscriptions dating back to the late 1700's. The cemetery includes descendants of the Scidmore family, we’re unsure if there’s any relation to ?
