Next up in our new 2026 Barrel Night lineup: Single Barrel Wheated Bourbon - selected especially for Purdy’s. 🥃

Lighter and sweeter in classic wheated bourbon style, this pick opens with grain-forward notes of oatmeal and baked peach. The palate brings candied almond pastry, caramel, and butterscotch before a long finish of brown sugar with a touch of saddle leather.

And yes, that Purdy’s Private Selection sticker means this bottle was selected specifically for our store!

Our Second Annual Barrel Night bottle reveals start here. 🥃

We’re kicking things off with our new 2026 bottle lineup, starting with 1792 Bourbon Bottled in Bond - Purdy’s Private Barrel Select.

This high-rye bourbon opens with spice, vanilla, caramel, baked apple, and toasted oak. On the palate, caramel and vanilla give way to dark fruit, coffee, and seasoned oak, finishing with balanced spice and lingering sweetness.

A little flashback to last year’s Barrel Night 🥃

Last year, we hosted our first ever Barrel Night at Purdy’s, bringing together some incredible brands, plenty of great pours, and a store full of people ready to taste their way through our private barrel selections!

And, of course, we had a few very important guests stop by too. 🐶

If you’ve spent any time browsing Purdy’s wh***ey selection, you’ve probably noticed the barrels throughout the store - and the bottles surrounding them. These are part of Purdy’s collection of private barrel picks, hand-selected specifically for our store to bring unique expressions from some incredible distilleries to our shelves.

On November 19th, we’re celebrating them at our 2nd annual Barrel Night here at Purdy’s!

Barrel Night is your chance to experience the collection all in one place.

This year’s lineup brings together returning favorites alongside brand-new additions to our private barrel collection, each with something different to discover.

Andrew is back with another bottle spotlight, this time from Bōken Sake, and this one has a pretty wild story behind it. 🍶

The yeast used to ferment it traveled 400 kilometers above Earth to the International Space Station, where it spent 10 days in orbit before returning to Japan to be used in the brewing process.

Made with 100% Tosa Urara rice polished to 60%, Boken IPPO is clean and crisp with bright notes of ripe banana, peach and apricot, finishing refreshingly dry. It pairs great with grilled meats, but it’s versatile enough to bring to just about any table.
