Join us for Premier Cruz: A Mountain Cabernet Experience🍷

On Saturday, October 24, Mount Eden Vineyards will join fellow Santa Cruz Mountains producers, presented in partnership with McLaren San Francisco.

We’ll be pouring our 2021 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon alongside the 2016 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, offering a special opportunity to taste two vintages side by side and experience how Mount Eden Cabernet evolves with age.

Enjoy an afternoon of exceptional Cabernet from across the Santa Cruz Mountains, light bites by Oak & Rye, live music, a silent w**e auction, and a showcase of McLaren automobiles.

Our friend J.P. Miller, a longtime friend of Jeffrey Patterson, recently shared this poem inspired by Mount Eden — from the winding road and ancient vines to harvest and the cellar below.

We loved seeing our mountain through his words and wanted to share them with you.

A feature of the 2026 vintage: small clusters, small berries and small yields. 🍇

Winemaker Austin Chin spotted this Cabernet Sauvignon cluster in our Lathweisen Vineyard this week. A small amount of our estate Cabernet has already been picked, with the majority expected to come in soon.

With berries this small, there’s a higher proportion of skin to juice — something Austin is happy to see as harvest continues.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Winemaker Dinner on Friday. From five courses by Le Papillon and Mount Eden w**es to great conversation and sunset views over Silicon Valley, it was such a special evening on our veranda.
