Introducing: Garrod Farms’ 100% Grass-Fed Beef!
Please meet family member Luke Garrod. He lives on Bird Flat Ranch in Lassen County, CA. He’s grown hay and alfalfa for Garrod Farms horses for most of his life.
Bird Flat Ranch is an important part of the Garrod Farms operation; it’s where the hay and alfalfa for our horses is grown.
For the last 25 years, in addition to growing hay, Luke has been developing his own breed of cow that thrives on the native California grasses of Lassen County. He calls this breed Merlot.
For the first time ever, we are offering customers the chance to buy this 100% grass-fed, 100% grass-finished beef! Sold frozen and vacuum sealed, exclusively out of our Tasting Room.
We have also started compiling recipes that pair the grass fed beef with CGV wines, of course! Creating some wonderful, local, farm to table experiences for your family and friends.
