I've really been thinking about a couple statements from 8/16/26 Sun morning sermon from Calvary Baptist Church Carthage, Mo. "Don't quit in the middle of the story" & "Don't confuse waiting with abandonment" both I've really been meditating on since yesterday.

For the sake of putting out info maybe way to soon. For close to 15 years the Lord has blessed us where we were able to work with a local elementary school through the church we were attending at the time, so both Evangel AG in Carthage and now Calvary Baptist Church Carthage, Mo. We have been blessed enough to provide 10 families in Carthage with a Thanksgiving meal (turkey & the fixings) and then Christmas meal. It usually runs about $500 total for all 10 families. Last year, the young adult group started their own list, so honestly we are looking at like 20 to maybe even 30 families. So if you would like to help, please make out checks to the below. We will post pictures, but will not disclose what school or who we do help.

The plan right now is to be at Hilltop Swap this Sat 7-4-26. We will have goats for sure maybe some honey depending on how tomorrow goes. There will be some other smaller items maybe some goodies. We also set out free Bibles and copies of The Pilgrim's Progress if you would like one or need one.
