WE HAVE GOOSE EGGS! $5/half doz.
Our geese are pastured (unless they sneak out, in which case they become free range, haha!). They have daily access to grass and sun. Geese primarily live on grass and pasture, but we supplement with all-flock and scratch grains during their laying season. This means the nutrients in their eggs are prime!

Fun Facts About Goose Eggs:
- 1 goose egg is about 2-3 chicken eggs
- goose eggs are high in antioxidants, vitamin B12, and protein
- goose eggs have a higher ratio of yolk to white, making for a very rich egg
- goose eggs are excellent for baking

We will have goose eggs now through summer. Come try some today!

We are heartbroken. ❤️‍🩹

Over the past week we have been battling a mink for the first time ever. We witnessed it in action the first day and took as many additional precautions as we could think. Blocking potenial entry points, routine checks, live trap set with bait, lights on all night…

Unfortunately, we have lost our literal entire flock of chickens. All raised since babies, some even hatched out by me. Gone.

Losing them all means that we are done selling chicken eggs for the foreseeable future. Replacing our nearly 30 hens with those already laying would be an astronomical financial burden. We deeply apologize to our customers who have supported our little egg stand. Please note we still have quail and goose eggs, though those both are seasonal and not being produced right now.

Thank you all for your support through the years. Maybe next spring will bring new chicks in time for fall laying. Until then, be safe and well.

Expect cooler to have eggs every day. Right now we are getting at least a dozen a day.
Note that I had to start putting quail eggs into regular egg cartons lately due to running out of the containers, so I will be sure to label them well for you!

Finally cooled off enough to set the cooler back out in the egg stand! I’ve got it stocked and ready with quail, goose, and chicken eggs. I also have an abundance of garlic scapes available, just message me and I’ll cut some for you. A bunch of 20 scapes is $5.
