We have had a lot happen. Community efforts to help NC from AL and GA, surgeries, life circumstances, and furthering my education while working, keeping up with our kids and maintaining the farm.

It’s put me back on crocheting and processing wool.

But I’m thankful for good doctors, great kids, a partner who is super supportive and my community. Being a homestead that is women ran is hard enough as is, and you all make it worth it! Thank you for your support!

I’ve met some amazing folks in farming. A few weeks ago a neighbors dog came onto our property and displaced and maimed most of my farm. I lost sooo much and the grief is still real.

Today I picked up 5 American Buffs from Tennessee to replace the 6 we lost. I couldn’t have done it without meeting people in the conservatory livestock world.

Our goal will always remain the same: hard to find quality bred livestock animals and fiber.

I’d never wish for what I have gone through on any other person or farmer and I’m so thankful to everyone who’s helping me rebuild. It means the world to me.

If I ran a waffle for chicken hatching eggs who would be interested?

It would be redeemed in July and a dozen $5 buy ins. You’d have to pick up at the farm for now.

Funds would go toward poultry pens.

We will not be hatching for the public this year. We have had a tragic virtual total loss of our breeding flocks.

I will keep everyone posted on our goats and Cashmere. They are still missing. 😔

We currently have Olive Egger and Easter Egger project eggs available for hatching.

These are various purebred birds over Ameruacana that throw a vibrant light blue egg.

We expect ranges of blue, mint, and deep green/brown for our being over our lighter lighter Copper Maran Girls.

We will have Favorelles, Copper Marans, Ameruacana, and Delaware hatching eggs and chicks at the end of April.
