nt, and reduced fertilizer/herbicides. Our farm takes great pride in conservation and were recently awarded the 2024 MASWCD Outstanding Conservationist of the year. Our farm was also 1 of the 4 finalists for the first Minnesota Leopold Conservation Award. Our farm is Minnesota water quality certified with all 5 state endorsements: Climate Smart, Intergrated Pest Mangement, Irrigation Water Management, Soil Health, and Wildlife.

Cover crop season is here.

Team drill or team drone? We use both. Different tools for different situations.

We’re getting a jump start on cover crops by interseeding into standing corn thanks to our I19 drone, while also using the drill to seed a multi-species mix into oat ground.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to cover crops. The best tool depends on the crop, timing, field conditions, acres, and what you’re trying to accomplish. Drones let us get seed out when the crop is still standing and equipment can’t run through the field. Drills give us seed-to-soil contact and precise placement after harvest.

Beautiful night to seed cover crops. The I19 is a impressive drone with a lot of cool technology and is user friendly. we finished this field and programmed the drone to sweep the border to cover all acres. watch as it follows boundary points and flies back home autonomously!

Land, fill, and take flight with the Revolution I19 drone with me. We are interseeding cover crops into corn for earlier establishment to further increase soil health and water quality. The I19 has a large tank to efficiency fly on cover crops over a large amount of acres. Each fill has 170 pounds of cover crop seed.
