We are selling all of our chickens, we unfortunately just don’t have the will to keep them after loosing all of our marans. We will get chickens again but I honestly just need a little break to grieve the years of work I lost in one night. We have Olive eggers, Ermine Amerucanas, Lavender Amerucanas, and a few barn yard mix of those breeds plus our marans that we aren’t sure what they will lay yet.

$20 per hen or $150 for 10!

We had something a little urgent we bad to tend to this weekend so we weren’t able to make cinnamon rolls for Cinnamon Roll Sunday so instead we had a friend who also owns a cottage bakery at Slow rise Cottage Bakery helped us out by making sure yall had cinnamon rolls available!! We will have our jams and a few other goodies as well!

It’s been a VERY sad morning for us on the homestead! My husband woke up to go to the market for me this morning and saw eyes down by our chicken coops and ended up running off a coyote but not before it killed EVERY SINGLE ONE of our BCM chickens! 💔 as many of you know I have been working on these BCMs for 4 years now! I’ve spent so much money buying hatching eggs from all over the country to try and get the darkest speckled eggs and pretty hens. This is a MAJOR loss for our farm and because of this as of now we are not planning on selling hatching eggs this spring. But we ARE looking for new BCM hatching eggs so if you know a farm with DARK eggs but also pretty birds at least really close to SOP tag them below!

🍞 NEW FARM STAND HOURS! 🍞

We’re so sorry for the inconsistency lately! We’ve started bringing our breads to the Long Beach Market, and y’all have been keeping our little kitchen running at FULL capacity. 🤎

Because of that, we’re changing up our Farm Stand hours to make things a little more consistent!

🌿 FRIDAY-SUNDAY 9 AM–DARK

🍞 FRIDAY: Fresh bread stocked! Everything is first come, first served unless you place a pre-order.

🥖 SATURDAY: The stand will be stocked with whatever goodies are still available from Friday and anything left over from the market after 2pm.

✨ SUNDAY: CINNAMON ROLL SUNDAY! ✨
We’ll do a fresh Sunday restock featuring our cinnamon rolls!

So remember:
Friday = Bread Day 🍞
Sunday = Cinnamon Roll Sunday 🤎

Our pepper jelly lineup is growing, and we honestly can’t pick a favorite!

🌶️ Classic Pepper Jelly -that perfect sweet + peppery combination that goes with just about everything.

🍑 Peach Pepper Jelly -sweet, juicy peach with just the right little kick.

🫐 Blueberry Jalapeño Jelly -sweet blueberry flavor with a jalapeño finish. This one is SO good over cream cheese!

Serve them with cream cheese & crackers, add them to a charcuterie board, glaze chicken or pork, put them on biscuits or just eat them straight from the jar. We won’t judge. 😂
