Hmmm.... weekend recipe in mind.. I'm thinking bourbon and peach something. What is it with me and peaches lately?!

Make biscuits from scratch or fine fine fine, get pillsbury...
In a saucepan, add 3 tablespoons butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/2 cup BOURBON (add carefully if you cook on a gas stove like me) and 3 sliced peaches. Boilllllllllll down for about 20 minutes. Only after that 20 minutes, stir in 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp. turmeric, 1/2 tsp. ginger. Cook for 2 more minutes and cool. Serve over biscuits with whipped cream or, my fave... french vanilla ice cream.
