This is exactly why I started Soul Good.
What began as a search for something simple and safeā¦
has turned into moments like this.
Reading this honestly stopped me in my tracks.
Thank you for coming back year after year ā it means more than I can say.
And for everyone who has discovered us the same wayā¦
Iām so glad you found us.

At this point, I donāt go to VegFest⦠I go to find this caramel. š
This is me with SoulGood Confectionsāand yes, I hunt down this booth every single year.
What started as a quick sample turned into a full-blown tradition.
Because these arenāt just vegan caramelsātheyāre hands down some of the best caramels Iāve ever had. Rich, soft, buttery (without the butter), melt-in-your-mouth, and actually feel like a real treatānot a substitute.
Like⦠if you handed this to someone without saying a word, they wouldnāt question it. Theyād just keep eating.
Kimberly, the founder, started this company because she couldnāt find sweets that were safe for people with allergies and still felt indulgent. So she made her ownāusing simple, organic, coconut-based ingredients and skipping dairy, soy, and the usual additives.
And somehow made it taste like this.
No weird aftertaste. No chalky texture. No āthis is good for being vegan.ā
Just⦠ridiculously good caramel.
If you ever see SoulGood Confections at an eventāgo find her booth. Immediately. Iām not even being subtle about it. š
This is what I love about VegFestā
you discover small businesses that are doing one thing and absolutely nailing it.
Also, for the record⦠Iāve bought these for the past three years, and yes, Iāll be buying them again. No regrets. š
If you went, what was your best find this year?
