Now offering a hand picked version of rock picking 😂 can’t promise the job will get done very well but it only costs 1 ice cream treat at DQ. The girls loved finding rocks in the field and were impressed with the amount of dirt that came off of them when they took their showers.

These are the weekends that I hope the girls say made their childhood great. Perfect weather besides the wind to enjoy Hemkers Zoo for Boo at the Zoo, snuggles from the kitties and lots of time on the farm. We are all exhausted but had so much fun.

So fun to see so many familiar faces out at the Stearns County fair! The girls enjoyed all the animals, sno cones and rides this year. Ella is questioning why cows at the fair smell better and like her better than the cows at the farm 😂. If it was up to her you would be seeing her in the 4-H show rink next year with some bunnies and chickens. A hard stop was put to that idea but we will see if she can sweet talk her way into doing it. We may regret it if we say yes as we know nothing about the commitment or have bunnies or a chicken that she could use 🤣.

The one time a year the tractor gets a good cleaning…..Sinclair Lewis Days parade! We all 4 fit in the tractor along with the girls extra parade gear.

Had to rush home from gymnastics to bring supper to the field and provide Trav with extra company in the tractor while baling. To say the girls love everything about the farm is truly an understatement.

Last rock picking job for spring brought us up to the cabin. Kari spent many summers up here and enjoyed showing the girls all the things that she did when she was their age. If you have an unplanted field and are interested in rock picking we still have time to get it done. Next up on the list is summer bailing!
