It’s been a little quiet around here lately. Life has been full in the sweetest way as I’ve been soaking up time being mama to my two minis. The flower fields may have been a little quieter in 2025, but behind the scenes we’ve still been dreaming about summer blooms and ways to bring flowers into your gardens again this year.

And I’m so excited to finally share something with you…

We’re thrilled to share that our second baby girl—our sweet mini #2 arrived at the end of April!

Our hearts are full. This journey, marked by the beauty of growing flowers and the challenges of infertility (which is where Honeydew Fields’ journey began) has brought us overwhelming joy and strengthened our faith in God and the beauty of nature.

As our family grows, so does our gratitude.

A reminder that we’ve made the heartfelt decision to pause flower farm operations for the 2025 season. We’re looking forward to soaking up this time together—watching our girls grow, having slow and messy mornings. enjoying the little things, and embracing a season of rest and presence.

As we step into 2025, we reflect on the joy and gratitude this past season has brought us. Our little family has been soaking up precious moments together, preparing for a beautiful new chapter ahead—our family is growing! Baby #2 is due in May, and our mini is thrilled to become a big sister.

With this exciting change, we’ve decided to slow down for the 2025 growing season. For the first time in three years, we will not offer bouquet subscriptions or custom orders this summer. Instead, we’ll savor the beauty of the flowers for ourselves and focus on this special season as a family of four.

But don’t worry—we’re still growing and staying connected!

This spring, we’ll have extra seedlings available for those interested in starting their own cut flower gardens. Kits will be available for pre-order until **February 15, 2025**—pickup will be in late April. Email us at **[email protected]** to reserve yours!

These views are so unreal and I cannot get over the simple beauty of nature and what she provides.

As we continue to enter the fall season, we make plans for next year, which are going to look different than what we have done in the past (some big announcements on this to come!)

It’s October and I cannot get over how gorgeous the flower fields continue to be. We are just enjoying these flowers in the fields along with the pollinators and birds this time of year. A picture just can’t do this view justice.

Our season wrapped up earlier this month, but it doesn’t take long to miss the flowers. I do also love this time of year because we get to selfishly enjoy the blooms for ourselves.

We are now taking this time to refuel the soil and give it rest, something it much deserves after the season. We plan on letting the flowers bloom until frost and leave them there for the birds over winter. We also plan on taking some new sections of the fields to plant cover crops to get nutrients and cover on it.

It’s week #8 which means bouquets have come to a very bittersweet end. This week features an ode to everything our subscribers have seen this summer with a touch of fall in the mix.

We so enjoyed our time this season celebrating summer with regeneratively, locally grown flowers and getting to share them with our Fresh from the Field Club members. Whether you have supported our farm with a purchase of a summer subscription, have been a visitor at our farmstand, or shared/liked our posts, we sincerely appreciate all of you for sharing our love for growing and enjoying the beauty of flowers. 💐

PS we have limited stock of bouquets at the farmstand today, but we are open (9/5). We also have an assortment of pumpkins and squash available for sale, also grown on our farm. Please PM us for the address. Cash or Venmo are accepted!
