Rare opportunity!

I don’t normally have availability for lessons due to my busy schedule, but I am opening up my books within the next couple weeks for limited lessons (1 on 1). You would need to haul in your own horse as I currently do not have lesson-suitable horses in. Message me if interested!

After every run, find 3 things you did well and 1 thing you want to work on.

It’s easy to walk out of the arena and immediately focus on everything that went wrong. But if the only thing your brain hears is criticism, you’re training yourself to look for failure instead of progress.

Find three positives. Maybe you stayed aggressive. Maybe your timing was better. Maybe your horse handled a tough situation well. Maybe one barrel you’ve been struggling with, came together.

Then choose 𝐎𝐍𝐄 thing to improve. Not ten. Not the entire run. One thing you can take home and work on.

3 wins. 1 adjustment. Then move forward.

Confidence doesn’t come from being perfect. It comes from recognizing your progress while still being willing to improve.

Horses are not for the faint of heart. There will be injuries. There will be death. There will be setbacks. There will be heartbreaks. There will be times you question if it’s all worth it.

Yes yes, it’s worth it. Winners win.

I really, really don’t want to do this 😢 but I need to be realistic on what I’ll have time for. Leo is a special horse to me, I will be picky on where he goes!

Leoh Nick Bar is a 2020 gelding by No Pressure On Me out of a winning rodeo mare by Draws a Crowd. Bred and raised by Zehrer, Darrell DVM, started by Grant Bayer, and owned and trained by me ever since. He has not been passed around. Leo is athletic, quick, and covers ground, but very safe and walks in the gate flat footed. I wouldn’t be still riding him at 6 months pregnant otherwise. He was jump rode by a youth a few weeks ago and did great. Made multiple nice 1D runs last year without getting the opportunity of a full futurity year. Up to date on everything and in shape. He does come with some minor quirks and a vet history which his price reflects, serious inquiries please pm for more info. Asking 2x,###. Sauk Rapids, MN
