🍅 Finally called it a season with my never ending tomato plants.
After a few cold nights and the deer finding a few snacks, Riv and I (and Daisy of course) picked the remaining green tomatoes to take inside to ripen. This year our plants were massive and have produced so much more than expected! Planning on getting some canning done with this year’s harvest soon! 🥫

Those sneaky guineas had a nest of 37 eggs in my sunflowers!! 🤯🥚
The mothers failed to sit on them but just kept adding to the pile! Finally gave up on them a few days ago when we were out in the garden picking pumpkins.

Guineas in the garden. Volume up for their beautiful vocals 😅
I finally pulled all the eggs off the nest in the sunflowers and it was a ridiculous amount! They failed to have maternal instincts and sit on the massive nest to hatch out any keets. Any guesses on how many I found?! 😳
