Fair Oaks Farm Fair Oaks Farm, Savannah, Mo., is home to Julie Feeser and the Jordan Family. Julie, Matt, Monica, Ella and Samuel raise, exhibit, and market Angus cattle.

The original Fair Oaks Farm, established in 1901 in Williamsburg, Va., was Julie's childhood home. Cows, hogs and crops were grown on the 200 acre farmstead. A sawmill and planing mill were also operated for many years. Julie's Dad, Julian Irving Levorsen, took over in 1938. He had an Angus based herd buying bulls from progressive breeders around Southeast Virginia. He sold custom fed freezer beef and marketed fat steers.

It’s neat to watch young exhibitors get their start in the Angus business, and to be a small part of that at this year’s National Junior Angus Show was special. Sam helped dress a calf that was raised on the farm and sold by Gerloff/Leachman as well as a calf out of an embryo we sold through Ward Brothers Livestock Legacy sale.
