8 February 2026 Katahdin ewe lambs (can be commercial, 50% KHSI recorded, or KatPlus) and 1 February 2026 Katahdin ram lamb (100% KHSI Registrable) located in Savannah, TN. This is not a complete starter flock as the ram lamb is half brother to the ewe lambs pictured. They are all sired by ram in last picture, (RKF 321), from Rinehart Katahdin Farms Possible delivery for a fee within a reasonable distance of Savannah, otherwise pickup here at farm. Well it’s been awhile since I’ve posted any pics from the farm, since January as a matter of fact.
So here’s a photo dump of January through now. I’ve added primarily pasture raised feeder pigs to the place, as well as grazing family members cattle in rotation behind my sheep for the soil and grass benefit of multi species grazing. Lambing went extremely well in February and first week of March, and most of the market lambs are gone, only a few replacement ewe lambs left for me to keep. The rye grass and wheat in the creek bottom did exceptional this year and I was blessed to be able to get 4 grazings off of it before there was any backwater in the bottom. Sadly on Mother’s Day we lost Smokey the one and only special barn kitty at the age of 15. Currently have a Silver Sebright bantam hen sitting on eggs due to hatch any day. Nothing like the views of a farm and livestock.
