d built a bridge. They invited the DEP, let's call him, DB where he falsely determined us as a hobby farm. A hobby farm with 200 chickens, 9 breeding rabbits, geese, 20+ breeding ducks, draft horses, 15 sheep, and 6 alpacas.... I must be rich if this monster is a HOBBY! I'm pushing through it anyway and forcing a resolution one way or another. After a full production season has been lost, I refuse to wait any longer. We are preparing our hugelkulturs for the coming spring, planting our cover crops, as well as seeding and fencing the pastures. We are currently fighting in our mountainous right-to-farm community for our right to farm against the Massachusetts DEP.
