Swartz Family Farm

Swartz Family Farm We are gearing up for spring and getting the gardens ready for planting. Seeds have arrived! Watch for upcoming details.

Deb is working on an extended Bakery Menu for the 2027 summer season. Ordering for delivery to the Iron County Farmers Market coming. Bob has been a farmer all his life, and since you can't take the farm out of the boy, we are entering our 8th year selling fresh produce at our local farmers market. It started when our garden produced too much for us, and our two children's families to eat. We will

be offering a FARM STAND on our property and selling more vegetables this year at home, and taking pre-orders for pickup at the Market. We will be selling ONLY on Saturdays at the Iron County Farmers Market. Deb is really into creating new handmade items, so expanded her product line to smaller things that might sell at the farmers market, like handmade soaps, dishcloths, doggie toys and treats, shopping bags and totes. Deb has summers free from her regular job at the Ashland High School, so she's home most days during the summer to work on items to sell at the farmers market, and also has two Etsy shops online to sell her handmade and vintage finds. In addition to that, Deb has been selling Watkins Products for over 20 years. Just give her a call to make sure she's home 715-893-2485.

A few pictures from volunteer time at the Whistlestop in Ashland this morning. The AHS Jazz Band performed and were great! Our FCCLA group worked the Runners' Bag Pick Up, and one of my International Exchange students ran the 10k. Congratulations Paula!

I found a dime in the Pumpkin patch this week, when I was out picking a few for my exchange students who didn't make it out earlier this season. I wonder who was visiting me?

I *talked* with my mom on my drive to, and from my appointment this afternoon (it was stressful), and I grabbed a coffee on my way home... and just before I took my seat in the car to finish the drive something caught my eye. There, right where I couldn't miss it, a dime. My mom often said (as many do) that a penny found brought good luck, and a dime found meant a loved one was near.
Say what you will, disbelieve if you like... just keep it to yourself, thanks. Because in that very minute, I needed it. ❤️
