Over at the mill, we “dressed” or “sharpened” the native North Carolina granite stones in the traditional millstone pattern with an air hammer. Yearly maintenance. This is the runner stone mounted on the driveshaft which is set close to the (not pictured) bed stone which doesn’t turn.

Lunchtimes mean quick wholesome meals to me when we are at the biz. Organic DeLallo Gemelli, localLamagna Cheese Ricotta, Organic Edward and Sons Portobello Slices and frozen Stahlbush Island Farms spinach with a dash of Frontier Garlic Powder and Liokareas Extra Virgin Olive Oil. If I can make it in 15 minutes, bonus! It was pretty good too.
