Happy Hippie Family Farm Happy Hippie Family Farm is a Family based and owned Farm committed to providing our community healthy produce with safe natural practices.

We are Jason and Kelly with our son Drake. This is the story of the start of our farm....
We have always loved gardening to having fresh veggeis and herbs to use. In 2008 we expanded with some chickens for fresh eggs on our little one acre farm. In 2010 Drake came along and the garden got overlooked for a year or so. We got a new flock of chickens and Drake loved that he could watch them grow up.

We restarted the garden that summer. Over the last few years we had an abundance of produce and decided to sell and give to family and friends. This past summer 2016 we grew Pumpkins, Beets, Lettuce, Garlic and Potatoes for sale. We had a lot of lessons learned last year for sure. Jason and I took a few agriculture classes to help us expand even more. And we have a few favorite youtube shows that are packed full of usefull knowledge. Aside from our personal veggie garden. We also have fresh free range eggs for sale... when we don't use them all. ;) From our 9 hens and 1 Rooster, Fabio. (he loves his girls and to flip his long black feathers back and forth in the wind)
We are currently looking for an agricultural farm with more acreage. So if you know anyone willing to sell at a great price for 10+ acres, please let us know. :)

We four our FOREVER FARM!!! 15 acres in Effort PA. About 5 acres cleared and ready to farm, the rest is forest and a small evergreen tree farm that will eventually be turned into a beautiful orchard. It was ours as of March 2018!! It too us 9 months with lots of work, sweat and tears of aggravation and joy, but it actually happened. And we couldn’t be happier.
