Joe Neal and Krista decided to purchase a few Angus heifers from Hutson Angus and Quarter Horses from Wagon Wheel as a "College Fund" for our daughters, Jaycee and Nealli.

Building a Future for Our Girls

After our daughters, Jaycee and Nealli, were born, we decided to purchase a heifer from Bert Hutson at Hutson Angus Farms, which also where we work. We wanted a way for them to be able to have something that could help make money for college - the very first calf Jaycee had was the top selling bull in the HAF bull sale. Heifers are being retained to increase the size of their herds. The family now has 13 pairs, 3 bred heifers, and 3 yearling bulls.

In July of 2018 we decided to purchase some Quarter Horses from the Wagon Wheel dispersal sale. We decided that it would be easier to raise our ranch horses than try to find one that would fit what we needed. We ended up purchasing 1 mare with a foal on her side and 4 yearling fillies. We are hoping to increase the size of our herd in the future.
