He is a well rounded bull overall, but he particularly excels in calf ease, scoring in top 15% for CED, and even more impressively in the top 3% of CEM. His Maternal Milk EPD scores are in impressive falling in the top 4%. You can’t go wrong with this mellow guy.

Update on Sutton: many of you were interested in watching his training. He was doing really well. Dustin was able to sit on him, I was so excited I cried. The next morning he had a horrible accident (Once again, lots of crying). The big baby he is, he let Adie’s pony chase him over an empty cradle feeder and he sliced open his leg. We got so lucky that he didn’t cut through any tendons or break any bones, which would have been fatal. The amazing vets at .services came out and did an emergency surgery. He was on stall rest for about 6 weeks and he’s now just about fully recovered. Check out our story to see his injury/healing. **Warning: It’s graphic **

The drought this summer was really hard on ranchers all across the country. We were very fortunate that we only had to dry feed the herd for a short time. They are still currently out to pasture and living their best cow (and donkey) lives. 😉
