CCC markets yearling and 18-month-old bulls in the spring and fall, as well as a select number of females each fall. We are located in north-central Kansas, about an hour north of Salina.

We lost a friend and integral part of Cody Cattle Company this week. Russell Carter is a man whose knowledge, determination, and quick wit will be greatly missed. It was always enjoyable when Russell was chute-side during cattle processing. He was a bit ornery and always made the long hours at the ranch go by a little more quickly.

From Cody: I’ll miss our conversations about cattle, genetics and kids. You’ve left a strong foundation for your family to continue your legacy as a farmer and stockman.

As we lay Russell to rest today, our heartfelt condolences and prayers to Rusty; Austin, Monteene and the boys; Bub and the whole Carter family. 🖤
