👀 riding around doing evening chores, and what do I see?!

A calf with no tag! Calf #14 hit the ground yesterday! A little brown heifer (girl). Mama did amazing and required ZERO assistance (which is what we like). By the time I took the video the calf had been up and nursed and was snuggled up in the sunshine for a nap 😴

Oh it's the most wonderful time of the year!

The cattle are out on pasture! Kickin up their heels and filling their bellies. New babies seeing fresh grass for the first time! 💯 we are up to 3 calves so far this year, with 5-6 more to go!

Planting update!

Late update on this one. We planted our 40acre field last month 50% alfalfa 50% mix of a grass mix and red clover. Praying for some good consistent rains this summer.

Disced the field to smooth out ruts, planted grass seed mix, drug and rolled for seed to soil contact. Pictures coming this week of sprouts in the field!
