Patriots' Heritage Cider

06/04/2025

After much thought, we have decided not to re-open the Tasting Room at Patriots’ Heritage Cider. We have enjoyed serving you, our customers (who have become friends), over the last five years. Indeed, 2024 was our best year ever. Wanting to enjoy our retirement years while we are still healthy, we have decided that the Tasting Room consumes too large a portion of our available time. We will miss the great conversations with individuals and groups around our tables and on our deck. We will still be selling our products at special events like the Schaghticoke Strawberry Festival and the Adirondack Wool & Arts Festival as well as in liquor stores like All Star Wine & Spirits in Latham. Product can also be scheduled for pickup at our cidery by calling 518-261-1763 and leaving a message. Thank you for five wonderful years in our Tasting Room! Cheers, Ron, Heidi, Cidre & Tannin

Our Apple Bourbon Mule has always been a customer favorite so why not try one yourself this weekend? We will be closed Friday, but open Saturday and Sunday from 12-6. This weekend is our final weekend for the tasting room for this year, and we will have a delayed opening for 2025. However, please feel welcome to text Heidi at 518-320-0534 if you would like cider or a refill of your growler, and we will arrange pick-up at your convenience. Happy New Year!

Also, don’t forget our Maple Cider Sauce. It’s the perfect addition for your holiday table! Hope to see you soon!

Ron and Heidi want everyone to know that due to the below freezing temperatures today, our tasting room will be closed. Our customers’ comfort is very important to us, and it’s just a bit too chilly today. We hope to be open both Saturday and Sunday, however. Have a great day!

Last weekend we had a lovely customer from NYC who has been here a few times before. When it was time for him to leave, he turned to me and said (and I’m paraphrasing), “Coming here is like the bow on top of the gift of my weekend getaway from the city.”

I think I actually teared up a bit.

During this special time of year, why not gift yourself with a break from the shopping and everything you have to do and enjoy a flight of our barrel-aged ciders, or pick up a bottle of your favorite to bring to a holiday get-together? We’ll be your bow, too!
Open Fridays 3-6; Saturdays and Sundays 12-6.
