For 30 wonderful years, you’ve been the most incredible husband anyone could ever ask for and the most loving father to our son. Your strength, kindness, dedication, and unwavering love have built our family and inspired us every single day.

You are one of the hardest-working people I know, and your passion for beekeeping is truly unmatched. Every hive you care for reflects the same patience, respect, and heart that you pour into everything you do. Watching you follow your passion has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

Hello friends,

Now that we’ve celebrated 🇺🇸Independence Day, I’ve been reflecting on what this milestone means for our country and for families like ours.

Living in America is a blessing. It’s a place where dedication, perseverance, and the freedom to pursue your dreams can turn a simple passion into a lifelong calling. Our family’s journey in beekeeping is proof of that. What started with a love for bees has blossomed into a business that allows us to do what we love while serving others.

Over the years, we’ve learned that our greatest reward isn’t just producing award-winning honey—it’s the relationships we’ve built along the way. Every customer, every conversation, and every order reminds us that we’re part of a community that shares a deep appreciation for beekeeping, quality, and supporting small family businesses.

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we’re especially thankful for the opportunities this country has given our family. We don’t take that privilege for granted, and we’re grateful for everyone who has chosen to be part of our journey.

George Washington ate hoecakes with honey almost every day for breakfast, but where did he get the honey? The only mention of Washington's bees comes from an entry on July 28, 1787, which states three hundred nails were given out at the Circle Storehouse to an indentured English joiner named Matthew Baldridge, “to make a bee house.” Lincoln, too, was reportedly "very fond of honey." The quote "If you want to gather honey, don't kick over the beehive" is often (possibly erroneously) attributed to Lincoln.
