Iona Troupe is a contemporary Irish dance troupe bringing the traditions of Ireland to life! Comprised of dancers of all ages, hailing from three local counties, Iona Troupe spins unique choreography set to both contemporary and traditional tunes. They have been entertaining audiences throughout upstate NY for over a decade. Whether it is a raucous pub for St. Patrick’s Day, the merriment of a medieval festival, an evening show at the theater, or a set at the local county fair, Iona Troupe is sure to serve up some joy and excitement as they hit the stage. From the passionate rhythms of their treble reels to the happy, toe-tapping lilt of their jigs, the troupe captivates the crowd, from the youngest to the eldest among us.
