As you may know, Logjammin’ is a charitable event at its core. This year, Logjammin’ VI will be raising funds to support the which conserves land and connects communities in Albany, Montgomery, and Schenectady counties. The Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy‘s work is a part of a larger effort to create a corridor of protected land from the Adirondacks to the Catskills, increasing connectivity for wildlife, expanding greenways for public recreation, and ensuring healthier communities in our region. As a rural farm brewery surrounded by the same open landscapes and corridors MHLC works to protect, this mission resonates deeply with us. Land stewardship is central to who we are, and we’re excited to align Logjammin’ with that effort.

Donations can be given directly to the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy at the ticket purchase page, OR visit their booth here at the festival day of! We are so grateful to all of those who can attend this years festival, and hope you all enjoy the change of scenery and greenery!

We’re stoked to have Colin & Lauren from joining us this Saturday for Logjammin’ VI.

They’re hauling their beer trailer, , out to the farm to pour beers from , , and .

These two spend most of their time on the other side of the bar, so it’s a rare treat to get them out in the wild. If you know Delaware Supply, you already know they care deeply about great beer and the people behind it. And we’re here for it!

Last night a whole pile of volunteers gathered at the brewery to walk through layout, timelines, brewery check-ins, parking, buses, pouring stations, safety plans, and about a thousand tiny details to help make run as smooth as possible for all of you.

Seriously, this festival would not happen without them.

These folks are giving up their time because they care about good beer, good people, and helping create something special out here in the valley of Schoharie. They’ll be all over the festival grounds throughout the day, helping answer questions, keeping things moving, and making sure everyone has a safe and great time. Be kind to them. They’re here for you guys.

We’ll also have the team from on-site throughout the festival. Logjammin’ has always been about creating a fun, welcoming, respectful environment for everyone, and we want people looking out for each other while still throwing down properly.

A reminder that we still have DD tickets available, along with shuttle options running to and from and . Please make the call ahead of time to get home safe. We want everyone waking up the next morning with good memories and maybe a slight lager headache, not something worse.

Also, the massive ENT sign officially exists now and it is absurdly large. We snapped a volunteer photo in front of it last night and it’ll be posted outside the festival entrance all day. Make sure to grab a photo in front of the beast while you’re here.

We’re getting very, very close now. 9 days. Can’t wait to throw down with all of you.

5 years calls for a special collaboration, and we couldn’t have asked for a better partner than . We’ve long admired the folks at Schilling and the world class brewery they have built in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Over the last few years, we’ve felt incredibly lucky to get to know their talented crew, and to have had the privilege to attend their Oktoberfest celebration; an occasion not to be missed!

Süffig - Franconian Style Landbier - Collaboration with Schilling Beer Co - 5.4% ABV. We’ve tackled just about every lager style out there at this point, so when it came to designing a beer to make with the lager aficionados at Schilling, we had to dig deep. Franconian Style Landbier is a style Schilling has researched and brewed extensively, so we decided it was the perfect fit. We landed on a simple but hearty grist of Weyermann Isaria 1924 and Weyermann Vienna; a base that could stand up to enhanced double decoction, and moderate hopping rates. Throughout the boil we layered in our favorite Seitz Farm Hersbrucker, then sent the entire batch upstairs to our coolship for a hot steep on whole leaf Hallertau Tradition sourced through our friends . Resting in the coolship not only allows for an extended lower temperature rest on these whole cone beauties, but also acts as an additional time for settling in the shallow vessel, producing crystal clear wort. While still above pasteurization temperatures, we moved the beer back though our heat exchanger and into a tank with our house German lager strain for a slow and cool fermentation. We spunded for 100% natural carbonation, then moved into a lagering tank for extended aging. The result is an incredibly well rounded beer that delivers an impeccable balance between layered malt character and firm herbal and floral hop notes. A beer truly meant for drinking in session, surrounded by the best of friends. Today at 4pm, we’ll tap a 20L gravity cask of Süffig (our first ever!). We hope you can join us for this momentous occasion!

It’s not every day you get to celebrate 5 years of good times at Wayward Lane, and it sure isn’t every day we release a beast like this from deep in the strong ale oak cellar…

Double Barrel Quercus - Double Barrel Aged English Style Barleywine - 17.51% ABV. Yes, you read that right, 17.51% ABV of barrel aged bliss. This absolutely stunning display of English Barleywine was brewed just about 3 years ago, and was racked into a sopping wet Bourbon barrel sourced directly through our friends . After maturing for 22 months, the resulting liquid stood out from the pack as an already incredible barrel. Instead of stopping there, we knew this could stand up to further aging, and made the call to transfer it into yet another freshly dumped Hillrock Estate Bourbon barrel. Yet another year passed, and it was time to unleash Double Barrel Quercus to the world. This is everything we desire from BA Barleywine, and maybe even a little more...limitless layers of warming bourbon soaked oak, caramelized honey, fig jam, heavily toasted marshmallow, melted rolos...the list goes on and on and on. A truly decadent beverage meant to be shared amongst the best of friends. Available starting Saturday at our Anniversary weekend kickoff both on draft and in beautifully adorned 500mL bottles to go.
