Only 3 more days until our Christmas Market!

Come support our awesome vendors- Sculps Hill Woodworking, Holden Family Farm, and our young friend Emma who makes wonderful soaps.

We've been busy getting ready- it's been more difficult this year because I had knee surgery and have to be on crutches, and Lucy had her 3rd (and hopefully last) surgery/bone graft. We are slow and sore, but my amazing family has been here every day helping me do all the things.

I am so grateful I have a husband and kids who know how to pitch in and help out. A huge shout out to my mom, Barb Schoenauer , who has gone above and beyond to help me this year.

When we all talk about the 'reason for the season', I can't help but think these struggles we are currently having are God's quiet way of reminding me to slow down, appreciate those He gave me to love, and to remember that this life is meant to be lived in community, of all kinds.

So, from our little family community here, working together, we hope to see you Saturday! Know each and every item you will see has been made with intention and love by not only me, my family, but all the vendors as well!

Looking for a Netherland Dwarf female bunny for my grandson's birthday.
Must be friendly and tolerant of little boy love.
If not that breed, would consider another small breed.

I added homemade cranberry juice to my list of new market items this year. So I watched all the videos, looked at recipes, made the juice.

People lie. They said don't mix the sugar. Just pour it in the bottom of the jar before canning. Now I have a rock solid layer of cooked sugar on the bottom of all my jars. Ugh!

So, it's back to square one. I'm determined to get this right. I have another new market item I am excited about (think cocktail mix) that would be perfect with this cranberry juice!

Here's to the start of my late nights in the kitchen!

Steer update- we found fresh cow p**p inside our barn this morning. He must be nearby and has some idea this is home. We didn't see him and he didn't stick around too long.

Neighbors, please keep an extra eye out as we hope he is hiding out close by. Thanks!!
