Wolston Farms Wolston Farm, Home to Ian Caldicott and Raven OKeefe. We train herding dogs, raise sheep for wool, We also have chickens and sell eggs locally.

Raven and Ian have a flock of over 150 sheep that we raise for wool and to sell to others looking to start or expand a flock or looking for sheep for herding dog training. Ian offers lessons, training and clinics for herding dogs and owners interested in dogs for farm work, just for fun or for trialing. Raven is an artist specializing in pet portraits, and we both make shepherd's crooks and walking sticks.

Sheep Thrillz 2026 is happening at Wolston Farm, Scio — July 10 to 13 — and it’s the only USBCHA sheepdog trial in Oregon featuring a double lift championship round.

Watch elite dogs and handlers work sheep across 400+ yard outruns in complete silence except for a whistle. On championship day (Sunday), each run lasts 22 minutes of sustained precision and pressure. It’s breathtaking.

No tickets. No farming background needed. Park up for $5, bring your dog on a leash, and prepare to be completely hooked.

Sheep Thrillz is back! July 10-13 the only sheepdog trial in Oregon to include a double lift championship round returns to Wolston Farm in Scio Oregon. Come and join us to see some of the best sheepdogs from Oregon, Washington and Idaho compete for daily honors and the chance to be in the double lift final on Friday and Saturday and then watch the championship on Sunday. Monday come back to see the young dogs try their luck.
