Sunnyside Farms is seeking a Crop Crew and Maintenance Employee. We are a large dairy farm in Cayuga County, NY. We operate a modern, well maintained fleet of equipment.
Job Description:
- Farm equipment experience preferred. We will provide training for the right candidate.
- Duties to include but not limited to operating tractors and farm equipment as well as driving semi-trucks and trailers.
- Maintenance, repair, service and hand work will be required.
- Clean driver’s license required.
- CDL endorsements preferred but not required.
- Schedule will vary, dependent on workloads and weather.
- Must be dependable, hard-working, have reliable transportation and a good attitude.
- Ability to furnish work related references a plus.
- Self-motivated.

- Other duties as assigned.
- Pay Range - Hourly rate depending on qualifications and experience. Approximate average annual pay $45,000- $62,000 based on hours worked and work skills.

Sunnyside Farms has an opening for a Dairy Facility Maintenance Supervisor for our state-of-the-art dairy barns. We are a growing, progressive, technologically advanced dairy farm with a forward-thinking team. We value excellence, respect, work ethic, humility, candor, and integrity. The successful candidate will be responsible for barn maintenance and a wide range of repair tasks. The job description also includes tractor and truck operation for crop work based on weather, planting, and harvest schedules. The ideal skills are good mechanical sense and basic electrical, carpentry, welding, and plumbing experience. Strong organization, communication skills, and a great attitude are a must. Maintenance experience required. Knowledge of PLC, automation, computers, and networks would be preferable. Sunnyside is willing to train and educate the right candidate on skills needed to be successful. The position is full-time, Monday- Friday, with on-call availability every other weekend and options for overtime. Ability to furnish work-related references a plus. Range of $20-25 per hour compensation based on experience. Potential for compensation advancement based on skillset, experience, qualifications, and performance.
