That face you make when marketing wants a picture 😅📸

But in all honesty, if you have not met these two, you are missing out 💗

Big welcome back to Hazel, our kitchen manager, on the Scooba campus ✨ (pictured second, maybe she won’t see 🤫)

We are so happy to have her back. 🙌 The pride and care she puts into her work shows, and watching her interact with our students is just heartwarming! She makes sure these kids are not only fed, but encouraged to try things that are nutritious for them too 🍽️💗 Not only that, but her strong leadership 💪 elevates our team even more! 🚀

And Jamaya 💜 she may be soft spoken, but her actions speak volumes. She has such a pleasant, welcoming presence, and anticipates any needs of our guests before they know they need it. That kind of awareness and initiative is refreshing and so appreciated 🧡✨

🌟Employee Spotlight🌟

Mrs. Ollie has been a part of Sodexo at EMCC for 19 years, and during that time she has become a constant, trusted presence for students and staff alike. 🤍 Her connection to students goes far beyond her role in the Scooba Dining Hall. She knows their names, follows their journeys, and cares for them with a sincerity that you can’t teach. To her, we are family. 🫶

Mrs. Ollie never misses an opportunity to support the basketball teams. 🏀 You can find her either cheering in the stands, or working concession, 🍿🥤we often joke that she works the games to calm her nerves between plays😅. Her passion for the game and love for the players is unmistakable and felt beyond the court.

That same passion shows up daily in her cooking 🥘 and the care she puts into making sure students are fed, supported, and welcomed. Mrs. Ollie represents an outstanding customer experience, but even more than that, she embodies the heart of the EMCC’s campus culture ❤️🖤🤍.

We are PROUD 🦁 to have her on our team and to be a part of such an amazing institution!

Students may pick up multiple grab and go meals during this time 🥪🍎
🚫 No dinner service

If campus remains closed into next week, we will continue offering the same grab and go options to keep students fueled 🖤❤️🤍
