Whispering Pines Farm We offer visitors to this page a glimpse of everyday life on a small farm through our pictures. The farm was purchased by my father Kenneth L. Schwartz in 1950.

Built in 1856 the barn and farmhouse located on the outskirts of Scottdale have been a landmark for over 150 years! Over the next two decades my father and his uncle James Loucks worked tirelessly restoring the farmhouse and maintaining / improving the barn. My father was a butcher by trade and built a block building around 1970 in which to operate his meat-cutting business out of. Today, that same building houses Schwartz's School of Tae-Kwon-Do which opened in 1993.
