Not the project we were expecting to tackle this year, but Lybrand Construction got us fixed right up.

Shout out to Jt Lybrand, Heath Potts, Cecil Mays , Levi Lybrand, and the rest of the team for all their hard work this year and all the years prior. We appreciate you immensely. ❣️

Another round of mini projects came to a close. 💚

- Lots of weeding and mulching
- Welcomed some Tarheelbilly Farm bees who quickly made themselves right at home. 💛🐝
- FINALLY after 3 years of letting thistle rage, a row of tri-color dappled willow were planted along the front of the house.
- Filled the fire pit with lava rock from Adam's Trucking and added in an grate.
- Cleared out most of the brick wall bed, placing the Iris bulbs up for adoption, and reused the space for some additional tomato plants. 🍅

I often find myself wishing that my mom could see the farm, to bear witness to what has been created and, also, to what has been found. This past weekend held a whirlwind of activity, but in the quiet, I held her memory close.

This weekend's progress:

- Foxglove was planted and the back fountain now works!!! 💜🩷💜
- Fire pit positioned.
- Birdbath added to daylily bed.
- Scored an accent chair for the sunroom at Sue's Junk & Antique Mall. I am obsessed! 😻
- Peppers planted. 🌱
- Welcomed a new neighbor to the warehouse.
- Prepped for this week's roof repairs. 🤞
